Although nothing takes the place of a real life, in-person visit, Barbara offers two types of Skype visits for schools, libraries, and book clubs.

Note: Skype visits are intended for groups that have read one or more of Barbara’s books.

These sessions are Q&A and are only for groups that have read one or more of Barbara's books.

Please send questions to Barbara via email at least 3 days before the scheduled Skype day. This allows Barbara to prepare any necessary visuals to share with the students and is helpful when audio quality is poor.

Fee: $200 (due within one week after the Skype visit)

Free 20-minute Q&A (1 per school per year; for scheduling see below)

Barbara sets aside a number of days each school year from October to April for free 20-minute Skype sessions.
These sessions are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Please be aware that these sessions must be limited to 20 minutes as Barbara books several sessions back to back on one day.
Because they are free, these slots fill up quickly. Please plan ahead.
